St. Vid is the highest peak of the island of Pag (348 m). On it are the remains of the chapel of St. Vida (1348).
The views are open on all sides. You can see most of the island's towns (Pag, Kolan, Šimuni, Košljun, ...), and also the neighboring islands (Rab, Mali Lošinj, Silba, Olib, Maun, ...).
The northern horizon is dominated by numerous Velebit peaks and hips.
There is no potable water in the entire area, and in the case of a sudden storm, the only shelter can be provided by the ruins of a small church. Mountaineering equipment is recommended for movement!!
The top is marked with a concrete pillar. There is an inscription on the column with the name and altitude of the peak.
The top of Svetog Vid can be reached by several marked hiking trails, and this is the trail from the Dubrava side, the most difficult climb to the top, which takes about 45 minutes.
